they had just toured victoria falls and were returning to lusaka, when the plane developed problems and crashed.
a zambian newspaper says it was an oil leak.

When i was a servant i had two bags..the usual huge great thing stuffed with ,er,Books and Mints and we were given a small one to hold "Files"..nothing important you understand,i was only an ms,but stuff like rotas,talk duties etc etc....plenty of Paperwork.
the Day i left i discovered my own new Filing system for all that stuff and the stuff in my big Bag...it was in the front garden and was emptied on a wednesday!

Oasis....

well apparently its been 10 years since oasis released "definitely maybe".....what a fantastic album it is too!definitely a classic..and if theyd done the decent thing and split up after album no.2 (whats the story ...) noel would now be mentioned in the same breath as lennon,mcartney,jagger etc.....but instead they went ,imo, downhill fast.. oh well "tonnnnniiiighhhhhtttttttt im a rock n roll star....."

AMEN Im afraid its comments like this that tend to lose the U.S some sympathy imo.yes it was a terrible Day and yes the perpetrators deserve everything they will (eventually)get. But maybe we should also try to remember the everyday casualties that occur in other Countries due to American (and its Allies,inc GB)foreign policies.

hmmm i seem to remember saving Private Ryan...no English Baddies but a very negative couple of comments about the Brits,esp Montgomery!All he was guilty of was trying to minimise Allied casualties.A cautious Man.Modern counterparts could learn a thing or two.....

The British war effort was helped substantially by the Polish people not just with the work at Bletchley Park but also some of the Best Pilots in the battle of Britain.They certainly had the incentive ...the atrocities committed in Poland by the Nazis was on a par,if not worse,than the terror in the Soviet Union.
